How the world was found
Mia came down into a valley where every single flower was celebrating. Lime green and pink everywhere, petals opening to the light, as if the whole valley were having a party for no reason except being alive.
She climbed onto the biggest pink bloom of all and sat in its centre, and the flower told her something she would keep for the rest of her life. A heart is like a flower. It can close up tight when it is frightened. But its real power is in opening.
And then came the words every child deserves to hear: I am loved because I am me. And that is enough.
“I wrote this for every sensitive child who has been told they are too much. Feeling deeply is not a weakness to fix. It is a flower opening. I wanted a child to sit in the middle of that pink bloom and know, in their bones, that they are loved for exactly who they are.”
